OIL - An Oil ETN

Definition:

OIL, the iPath S&P GSCI Crude Oil Total Return Index ETN, tracks the performance of the Goldman Sachs Crude Oil Return Index. The oil ETN reflects returns of the futures contacts that make up the underlying index as well as the T-Bill interest rate that could be earned on funds committed to the trading of the underlying crude oil futures contracts.
