ITA, the iShares Dow Jones US Aerospace & Defense ETF tracks the Dow Jones U.S. Select Aerospace & Defense index. The ITA follows the performance of stocks in the aerospace and defense sectors.
Some of the aerospace companies in the ETF are manufacturers, assemblers and distributors of aircraft and aircraft parts, while the defense sector companies are producers of equipment for the defense industry, such as military aircraft, radar, and weapons.
