It's a nice day to file for white metals.... And that's exactly why ETFS Securities did. Just yesterday we were talking about a filing for new fixed income ETFs. And here we are back today talking about a new white metal ETF filing. And I have an inkling we'll be talking more about some ETF filings tomorrow. Call it a hunch.
As for the new precious metals ETF, it will contain the white metal commodities of platinum, palladium, and silver. The fund is symbol-less for now, but has been aptly named the ETFS White Metals Basket Trust because the white metals in the fund will be held in trust.
