New ETFs from Grail Advisors
You may recall the post from last month about Grail Advisors new qualitative ETF. Well, the new kids on the block haven't stopped there; they have plans for a few more new exchange traded funds. But wait, there's more...
Grail Advisors has filed to launch four new actively managed ETFs to give investors the benefits of ETFs as well as the advantages of mutual fund management. They are trying to combine the best of both worlds...if that's possible. For investing purposes, let's hope so. The new ETFs that are scheduled to launch at the beginning of September are...
The "RP" in every new ETF name stands for RiversidePark Advisors who will be the primary sub-advisors for the actively managed ETFs. They promise to combat some of the disadvantages of normal mutual funds by disclosing all the holdings of the new ETFs on a daily basis.
And the search for the ETF Grail doesn't stop there. GA and RP are initiating the possible launch of the first actively managed foreign ETF as well. So yes, there will be more.
