So now we are back to...but wait, there's more!

The new ETF kid on the block, Claymore Advisors, has filed with the SEC (Security Exchange Commission) for three new exchange traded funds. The new funds draw similarity to mutual funds since they will be actively managed ETFs by using either technical or fundamental analysis to evaluate the companies in the fund. However, investors can still benefit from the advantages ETFs bring to the table.

  • The Claymore Delta Global Infrastructure ETF will include companies that have a hand in infrastructure projects like airports, railroads, and utilities.
  • The Claymore Delta Global Agribusiness ETF will consist of securities that generate revenues from functions related to agricultural commodities. Actions like growing, selling, or processing agriculture products.
  • The Claymore Delta Global Hard Assets ETF will be similar to the Agribusiness ETF, but the companies in the fund generate their revenue from hard commodities like base metals, energy, and precious metals.
  • Once again we are seeing more new ETFs, which is always a good sign. And these new ETFs are giving you the best of exchange traded funds and mutual funds put together without including the disadvantages of mutual funds. Maybe it's time you got started with ETFs. To help you on your quest, here is a list of actively managed ETFs.

Oh wait, there's more. Happy Memorial Day!
